Note for the site owner: this text is a working draft prepared for the Elixerra website. It has to be reviewed by a qualified lawyer and completed with the company’s registered details before the site goes live. Passages in square brackets are placeholders.
This site is built to work with as few cookies as possible. There is no advertising network, no social pixel and no third-party analytics on it as delivered.
What is actually stored
| pll_language | Remembers which of the three site languages you chose, so pages open in the right one. Strictly necessary for the multilingual function. Duration: 1 year. |
|---|---|
| Session and security cookies | WordPress sets these only if you log in to the administration area, or in some cases when a form is submitted, to protect against cross-site request forgery. Strictly necessary. Duration: session, or up to 14 days for a login. |
What is not used
- No advertising or retargeting cookies
- No social media tracking pixels
- No third-party analytics as delivered
- No fonts loaded from a third-party CDN — all typefaces are hosted on this site
If analytics are added later
Should Elixerra add website analytics, a consent banner will be added at the same time and this page updated to list the cookies concerned and their purpose. Until that happens, no consent banner is required for the cookies above, because strictly necessary cookies are exempt.
Managing cookies
Every browser lets you view and delete cookies. Blocking the language cookie will not break the site; it will simply forget your language choice between visits.
